Thor’s Hammer

In Norse mythology, the God of Thunder,  Thor, is a protector of others including humans. His most common foes were the Giants who would disrupt and threatened human life. In Battle, he would crack his hammer down on his enemy which sounded like thunder.  When the people would hear the sounds of thunder in the sky and see the lightning,  they believed that was Thor fighting to protect them…

This wrap around tattoo Features Thor’s Hammer centered on the tibia,  Shin bone, wrapping towards the outside of the leg into a human Skull.  Centered on the back of his leg I put Odin’s Ravens,  meant as a symbol of protection from his father watching his back.  And on the other side , the skull of a giant which comes back up to the other side of the Hammer.
